A major objective is the understanding that everything - construction details, architecture, urbanism, and culture - are parts interconnected within a greater whole. 

 

While teaching at the University of Notre Dame, students in the second-year design studio focus on the design process from precedent, site study and parti through final watercolor renderings and verbal presentation.
